Meet the Green Path Legal Team

Megan Sheehan, ESQ.

Attorney Megan E. Sheehan graduated from Macalester College in 2005 and Vermont Law School in 2013. While at Vermont Law School, Megan participated in the South Royalton Legal Clinic, was an active member of the National Lawyers Guild VT Chapter, and volunteered on a statewide workers' rights hotline. Prior to joining Sheehan & Associates, Megan worked with the Vermont Workers' Center as the Director of Operations.

Megan has represented hundreds of cannabis clients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, ranging from plant touching businesses to ancillary service providers. She is also an active member of the International Cannabis Bar Association (INCBA), “the world’s leading resource for cannabis law”. Megan has spoken in many panels and presentations on cannabis and also authored a Rhode Island Bar Journal article titled “CBD Is Legal…Right? The Complex Federal and State Legal Framework of Cannabidiol”. Megan has litigated many different cannabis related cases from licensing and zoning appeals to internal business disputes. She’s also assisted many businesses with bringing in investors to merging with other businesses.

Megan lives in the East Bay of Rhode Island with her husband, son, two dogs, and cat.

Christine D’Orsi Fitta, ESQ.

Christine has been practicing law for over 27 years. Chris is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island State Courts, Massachusetts State Courts and Rhode Island Federal Court. She has argued before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and has appeared regularly before state courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and before various state agencies and boards. She has focused her practice on a wide range of areas, including workers' compensation, criminal, probate, zoning, general civil litigation and appellate practice. In addition to representing individual parties to litigation, Chris has represented national and international companies. She is also well versed in the Medicare Secondary Payer Act. She has lectured extensively locally and nationally on a wide array of legal issues.

Chris received an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in legal abilities and ethical standards.

Chris is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Workers' Compensation Bench Bar Committee and the Probate and Trust Bar Committee. She was a member of the Defense Counsel of Rhode Island. She served as a member of the board of directors of the East Bay Center and the Girl Scouts of Southern New England.

Chris lives in Barrington, Rhode Island with her husband, Jay and their daughter, Olivia.

Blake Johnson is a Rhode Island native, born and raised in Providence. She was a part of the 3+3 program at Roger Williams University with an undergraduate degree in Legal Studies and Philosophy, graduating cum laude in 2019. She then graduated from Roger Williams School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Blake focused on business and transactional classes and was a part of the Business Start-up Clinic. She was also a student ambassador and Vice President of the Alliance. She is a member of the Rhode Island Women Bar Association and is licensed to practice in New York and Rhode Island.

Blake is the founder and co-owner of Black Dragonfly Events, a full service event planning company that specializes in fundraisers and fashion shows. She has raised over $3000 and other items for various charities in Rhode Island. 

She enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her dog and turtle. In her spare time, she is a dog walker and an amateur photographer.
